Won Bass US Open at Lake Mead / Final

As usual, Mead turned tough the last 2 days. Both days I weighed about 8lbs, and moved up to 12th place. It was a great time, but very tiring. I’m gonna rest a couple days then fly back to Illinois to see Amy and...

Won Bass US Open at Lake Mead / Day 1

The bad part was that I lost about a 3.5 lb smallie, and my partner lost one even bigger. Could have had a big day, leading easily. As it was, I ended up with just under 10lbs, about 15th place. It is a three day tournament, so we’ll go out and do it all again...

Consistency will be the key, get 10lbs a day to keep you in it. It’s great to be on Mead, and I’m ready to...
