Went to the Sports orthopedic clinic in Huntsville AL, and boy do they know injuries! Went to Jeff and DR. Greco and did X-rays, MRI, and blood work. Doc gave me a cortizone shot in the shoulder and prescribed a Medrol Dose pack. I already feel 100% better. They will let me know the outcome of the MRI and schedule a future appointment, but right now I am ready to get back to fishing, looking forward next week to Douglas lake, I have to catch them there!

Sorry about the lack of posts, but I’ve been fighting extreme pain from my neck in both hands and legs. Byron’s pain pills are the only thing getting me out on the water! I’ve got an appoitment next Tuesday with neorologist to find the source of the pain. Anyway, Bull Shoals was awesome fishing, but a lousy finish. I’d catch a limit in the first 30 minutes each day, and cull all day, and still finish 84th. Cranking R2S hi dep 65 and wiggle warts worked for me. I only spent 2 days practicing because of the pain, and never found the bigger bass. I am determined to get better, and finish off this season strong and make the Classic !! This pain will not deter my motivation for a great year.

We have been camping out at in the Ozarks, at both table rock and Bull Shoals for the last 10 days. It has been great, the weather and the fishing. Table Rock has been hot, the bass are loaded on the points and biting everything, plus all three species. We are heading today to Beaver Lake for the HOOK charity tournament on Friday. Should be a great time, and Amy and TJ are looking forward to a hotel room!
